From Bride to Boudoir: Emma’s Confidence Journey | Scottish Boudoir Photographer

One of the best parts of my job is getting to be part of someone’s story more than once. I first met Emma when I photographed her wedding day, capturing all the love, laughter, and emotion that made it so special. A little while later, she was as back in front of my camera - but this time for something completely different: a boudoir photoshoot.

Like so many women, Emma wanted to do something just for herself. While her boudoir session also made an incredible gift for her husband, the biggest reason she booked was to celebrate herself and rediscover her confidence.

It’s completely normal to arrive feeling nervous. Almost every woman tells me she’s “not photogenic” or worries she won’t know what to do in front of the camera. The truth? You don’t need any modelling experience. I’ll guide you through every pose, every expression, and every little detail, creating beautiful, natural images that feel authentically you.

Watching Emma relax, laugh, and genuinely enjoy the experience was amazing. By the end of the session, she left feeling empowered, confident, and proud of herself—and that transformation is exactly why I love boudoir photography.

If you’ve been searching for a Scottish boudoir photographer, a boudoir photoshoot in Scotland, or a bridal boudoir photographer, I’d love to help you create an experience that celebrates you. Whether you’re looking for a wedding gift for your partner, marking a milestone, or simply want to see yourself through kinder eyes, a boudoir session is so much more than just beautiful photographs.

Based in Scotland, I create relaxed, luxury boudoir photography for women of all ages, shapes, and sizes.
