Japanese Car Day at Dundee Transport Museum | Dundee Photographer
As a photographer, I usually spend my weekends capturing weddings, or my boudoir clients or special moments, but recently I had the chance to photograph something a little different.
I visited the Japanese Car Day at the Dundee Transport Museum with two of my sons. My oldest has recently discovered a passion for cars. Knowing how much he loves them, I brought my camera along to capture some of the incredible vehicles on display and to encourage his interest in photography too.
The event was packed with beautifully maintained Japanese classics, modern performance cars and plenty of enthusiastic owners happy to share their pride and joy. It was a fantastic atmosphere and a great opportunity to photograph details, colours and craftsmanship from a different perspective than I would normally experience as a Scottish Boudoir Photographer
While cars may not be my usual subject, photography is all about telling stories and capturing the things people are passionate about. Spending the day with my sons, sharing their excitement and documenting the event made for a memorable experience and a collection of images that I’m delighted to share.
Here are some of my favourite photographs from the Japanese Car Day at Dundee Transport Museum.
