Some weddings are beautiful. Some are emotional. And some are just completely unforgettable.

Laura and David’s wedding at Coats Memorial in Paisley was definitely the latter.

It was a day packed with love, laughter, happy tears and more than a few surprises — and I was so incredibly happy to be there to capture it all.

For Laura, the day was understandably emotional. She sadly lost her mum just ten months before the wedding, so there were moments throughout the day where those emotions were very close to the surface. Weddings are about celebrating love, but they can also bring up so many feelings, especially when someone incredibly important is missing. Being trusted to capture those moments is something I never take lightly.

And then… there was the chaos! 😂

Their buffet video is currently going viral, and honestly, I can completely understand why. It was one of those moments that was so funny and unexpected that you couldn’t possibly plan it.

And just when we thought we’d seen everything, a surprise drag act interrupted the ceremony!

Yes, really.

Add in a brilliant Scottish singer, a full Scottish drum and bagpipe band, an absolutely spectacular Glasgow wedding cake and a room full of people who clearly knew how to celebrate — and you have one seriously memorable wedding.

This was exactly the kind of wedding I love photographing.

Scottish Wedding Photography That Captures The Whole Story

As a wedding photographer in Scotland, I don’t just want to capture the big, traditional moments. I want to capture the things that make your wedding yours — the laughter, the tears, the madness, the surprises and all the little moments that you’ll still be talking about years later.

Whether you’re looking for a Perth wedding photographer, planning a wedding elsewhere in Scotland or looking for someone to capture your day through natural, emotional Scottish wedding photography, I want your photographs to tell the whole story.

Laura and David’s wedding was truly amazing, and I feel incredibly lucky to have been there to photograph it.

And that buffet video?

Well… I’m pretty sure that’s going to be talked about for a very long time. 😂❤️
