A Bucket List Moment
Standing in front of a Van Gogh felt like stepping into a moment I’d been carrying for years without realizing it. The colors weren’t just colors—they moved, pulsed, and breathed, thick with intention and emotion. I’d seen the paintings a hundred times in books and on screens, but nothing prepared me for the intimacy of the real thing: the visible brushstrokes, the urgency, the quiet ache beneath the beauty. It was a bucket list moment that didn’t shout or sparkle—it simply settled into me, grounding and unforgettable, like meeting an old friend for the very first time.
