My Favourites Images of 2025

Unfortunately, if boudoir is your thing you may be disappointed because it doesn’t feature much.

I could have watched everyone on the ice for hours (much to my daughter’s dismay!) but I’ve realised it’s because I was witnessing real pure joy.

I assume this is a father and son and round around they went. Father making sure son was ok. Laughing and smiling. Pure happiness. Felt like nothing else mattered on that ice at that moment in time.

The magic of this time of year. Watching it in real life.

Those are the moments that I enjoy the most.

Taken back in the spring and brings a whole lot of memories.

No stranger to Arthur’s Seat but this was the first time I’d climbed it since watching “one day” a show that truly broke me. At the time of taking this image I had a new and exciting connection that had just been made and I remember replying to a message of theirs after clicking the button. I remember the happiness from that moment and it just so happens this image is also a cracker.

10/10 recommend Arthur’s seat.
10/10 recommend one day but be warned, you’ll never be the same again.
10/10 recommend lovely exciting connections, no matter how short lived they are

This was taken back in March when my daughter and I took a small trip to Portugal. Somewhere I’d never been and let me tell you something. I was not prepared for how cold I was going to be in March 😂

There was actually a few contenders for favourite image from that trip but this one might be my all time favourite of the year.

Two people (lovers?) having a sit down. No one around. Water in front of them. I watched for a good while. They were engrossed in each other.

When I grow up, I wish for this. Where nothing else matters.

Taken on Valentine’s day and let me tell you what a great valentines day it was! 😂🥊

Was at @kynoch_boxing event and watched @nathanielcollins take a win.

I’m no stranger to the boxing world (I shan’t bore you with that) but this is a favourite image of the year because it brought my current life and merged it with a one I once knew and loved.

Who knows, more boxing this year? Fingers crossed.

The last “favourite” image of the year id like to share with you.

Actually, the last image of the year id like to share with you.

It is one of my favourites not because it brings lovely memories. I would hope it goes without saying that of course I don’t look at this image with fond memories!! I went out (rare for me) and so many of you stopped me because of my crying video, was actually nice for people to reach out and say they’d be the same. United in emotion!

This image is my favourite because I believe that famous saying is why we do what we do.

A picture paints a thousand words

When you capture an image that does just that…… it truly means everything to me and I think this image does entirely that.

I could have posted this and said nothing and you’d all of known what it was about, what Kim was feeling. You can feel this picture.

Those are my favourite type of images. The ones that make you feel.

She’s also very kindly given me permission to use this for something quite exciting for me, so watch this space!

Tomorrow is a new year. I hope you manage to enjoy the last day of this chapter in your life.
