The World’s Smallest Working Lighthouse
Nestled on the pier in North Queensferry sits a tiny hexagonal lighthouse that proudly holds the title of the World’s Smallest Working Lighthouse.
Standing just 23 feet (around 7 metres) tall, the lighthouse dates back to 1817 and originally guided ferries safely across the Firth of Forth long before bridges connected Fife and Edinburgh.
