Some sessions are about so much more than photographs—they’re about the people behind them.

When I recently met up with Chloe and her family for their beautiful forest gender reveal, it honestly felt like spending time with family rather than working. After photographing Diane’s wedding, we’ve built such a lovely connection, and being around them always feels so natural and effortless. These are the relationships that remind me why I love what I do.

The woodland setting was the perfect backdrop for such a special milestone. Surrounded by nature, the excitement, anticipation and love between everyone was impossible to miss. It was one of those moments where emotions took over, and every reaction was completely genuine.

Watching Chloe discover whether she was expecting a little boy or girl was incredibly emotional. There were happy tears, huge smiles and so much love shared between the people who mean the most to her. Those authentic moments are the ones I always hope to capture because they’re the memories that will be treasured for years to come.

But sessions like this are a reminder that every stage of life’s journey deserves to be documented.
