Professional fitness photography in Perth, Scotland, for personal trainers who want their brand to stand out.

Every business needs photographs that show the people behind the brand, and when your business revolves around fitness, strength and helping others achieve their goals, your images need to reflect exactly that.

Next up in front of my camera were the husband-and-wife team behind Currahee Fitness, who live and work in Carnoustie and made the trip to Perth for an on-brand fitness photography session at The Body Academy.

And what a good time we had!

On-brand photography for Currahee Fitness

When you work in personal training and fitness, having professional photographs for your business is about so much more than simply getting a few nice pictures.

Your images help potential clients get a feel for who you are, what you do and the people they could be trusting to support them on their fitness journey.

Whether you need photographs for your website, social media, marketing materials or future business promotions, a branding photoshoot gives you a collection of images that feel like you and represent your business properly.

For Currahee Fitness, that meant getting creative in a fitness environment and capturing images that they can use to promote their work as personal trainers.

As a photographer, I love these sessions because they give us the freedom to create something tailored to the business rather than simply taking the same photographs everyone else has.

From Carnoustie to Perth for a fitness branding shoot

The team travelled from Carnoustie to Perth to use The Body Academy as the setting for their session, giving us a fantastic environment for creating professional fitness and personal training photographs.

Fitness branding photography is ideal for personal trainers, gym owners, fitness coaches and anyone building a business around movement, strength and wellbeing.

Your photographs should work for your business long after the photoshoot is finished. That’s why I love creating a mixture of images that can be used across different platforms, helping keep your branding consistent while giving you plenty of variety for future content.

And, of course, a branding session doesn’t need to be stiff, overly serious or all about looking intense in front of the camera. The best images often happen when everyone relaxes, gets involved and enjoys the experience.

Which brings me neatly to the next part of this session!

Two personal trainers, two little helpers and lots of laughs

The couple brought two of their children along, who quite honestly sat good as gold while we got on with creating their photographs.

They deserve a little shout-out of their own! 😂

We managed to capture some really good shots for Currahee Fitness, but there was plenty of fun along the way too. That’s one of my favourite things about working with business owners: behind every brand are real people, families, personalities and stories worth capturing.

You can have a clear plan for the photographs you want, but I always want the session to feel relaxed enough that we can have a laugh, try different ideas and create images that genuinely represent you.

Because professional photography doesn’t have to mean standing awkwardly and wondering what to do with your hands!

Why professional branding photography matters for personal trainers

If you’re a personal trainer or fitness professional in Carnoustie, Perth, Dundee or elsewhere in Scotland, professional branding photography can help give your business a more recognisable and consistent visual identity.

A planned fitness photoshoot can provide images for:

  • Your website: professional photographs that introduce you and your services to potential clients.

  • Instagram and TikTok: a bank of fresh images to support your social media content.

  • Business branding: photographs that reflect your personality, training style and professional identity.

  • Marketing and promotions: versatile images for advertising services, launching offers or promoting your business.

  • Building trust: helping prospective clients put a face to the name before they get in touch.

Your social media posts don’t always need to rely on gym selfies or photographs grabbed between sessions. A dedicated branding photoshoot gives you the opportunity to create content with a purpose.

And you don’t need to be based in Perth to book with me. I regularly travel for studio, branding and other non-boudoir photography sessions, so if you’re a business owner elsewhere in Scotland, we can explore what works for you.
