Every year, I do something a little bit different at Robyn Allan Photography.
I offer FREE Halloween photoshoots.
Yep. FREE.
But before you all start flooding my inbox asking when you can book, there’s a little catch. 😂
You have to come to me with an idea.
And not just any idea, either.
It has to be something I haven’t photographed before, I have to absolutely LOVE the concept, and you have to be happy for me to share the finished images online.

Why do I do it?
Because I bloody LOVE creating something different.
I love an idea that makes me think, Oh, this could be good!
I love pushing my creativity, trying new concepts and making photographs that are a little bit out of the ordinary.
And Halloween is the perfect excuse to let that imagination run wild.
Three very different Halloween photoshoots in one morning!
This year, I managed to squeeze three completely different concepts into one morning.
And honestly? What a morning it was!
⚡ A lightsaber couple
Who says couples’ photography has to be all romantic sunsets and holding hands?
Give me a creative concept, a couple willing to get involved, and an excuse to do something a little different, and I’m happy!
Our lightsaber couple brought a whole different vibe to the camera. A little bit of sci-fi, a little bit of drama, and definitely not your usual couple’s photoshoot.
👻 A ghost couple
Because apparently, even ghosts deserve a little romance!
I absolutely love concepts that allow me to step outside the usual photography box, and a ghost couple is certainly one way to do that.
Halloween gives us permission to play with atmosphere, storytelling and the wonderfully weird. Why wouldn’t we make the most of it?
🎪 Circus mum and the goodest girl
And then we had a circus-inspired concept featuring a lovely mum and, of course, the goodest girl dog.
Because if we’re creating something wonderfully different, why should our four-legged family members miss out?
I love that this concept brought a completely different feel to the morning. Three ideas, three unique stories, and three opportunities to create something I hadn’t done before.
That’s exactly what these sessions are all about.
