Some women just have that something in front of the camera, and Jemma is most definitely one of them. 🔥

Jemma is no stranger to being in front of my camera, but it’s been a couple of years since we last created some magic together. And dare I say it… I think she looks the best she’s ever looked!

For this session, we decided to take things outside the studio and into the forest.

Picture this: Jemma in her underwear, wrapped in a trench coat, heading out into the woods in her car, which had very recently been valeted.

Yes, you read that correctly. 😂

Because apparently, if you’re going to take your underwear-clad self into the forest for an outdoor boudoir photoshoot, you might as well arrive in a freshly cleaned car!

Taking boudoir photography outdoors

One of the things I love most about boudoir photography is that there are absolutely no rules about what your session has to look like.

My studio is a wonderful space for creating intimate, dramatic and confidence-boosting images, but taking a session outdoors gives us a completely different creative playground.

Think natural textures, beautiful woodland surroundings, contrasting light and the unexpected combination of delicate, intimate styling against the wildness of nature.

Outdoor boudoir photography is perfect for women who want something a little different from a traditional studio session. It can be adventurous, playful, sultry and full of personality.

And that’s exactly what we created with Jemma.

A returning client, a different experience

There’s something particularly lovely about welcoming a returning client back in front of my camera. You already have that connection, but there’s still so much room to try something new.

Jemma’s return gave us the opportunity to create something different from her previous sessions, and I think you’ll agree that the results speak for themselves.

These images are confident, striking, a little cheeky and absolutely beautiful.

And the best part? They feel like the kind of images you might never have imagined creating until you actually stepped outside your comfort zone.

That’s one of the things I want every woman who books with me to understand: your boudoir photoshoot doesn’t have to fit anyone else’s idea of what boudoir should be.

Whether you dream of an intimate studio session, dramatic outdoor portraits or something completely different, we can chat about your ideas and explore what feels right for you.

Boudoir photography is my passion. I love creating images that celebrate women, their individuality and their confidence, whether that’s through a studio session or an adventure somewhere a little more unexpected.

You don’t need to know how to pose, have modelling experience or arrive feeling completely confident. My job is to guide you through the experience and help you create images you can feel proud of.

If you’ve been searching for boudoir photography in Scotland and wondering whether it’s something you could do, I’d love you to explore my work and see what’s possible.

And Jemma? Well, I think she absolutely smashed it.

A forest, a trench coat, a freshly valeted car and one seriously incredible gallery.

What do you think? Incredible, or INCREDIBLE? ❤️
