Friday was one of those days that reminds me exactly why I love being a wedding photographer in Perth. As Robyn Allan Photography, I have the privilege of documenting some of the most emotional and meaningful moments in people’s lives — and Sabina and Dan’s beautiful Perth registry office wedding was certainly one I’ll never forget.

Unfortunately, my own mother currently only has hours left with us. Knowing she was safe and cared for in hospital, I stepped away briefly to photograph Sabina and Dan as they became husband and wife. I didn’t anticipate just how emotional the ceremony would be — not only for them, but for me too.
From the moment they arrived at the Perth registry office, there was an overwhelming sense of love, warmth, and gratitude in the room. The sun shone beautifully over Perth, tears flowed freely, and every moment felt deeply meaningful.
Sabina looked absolutely stunning, glowing with happiness and emotion, while Dan could barely hold back tears as he watched his bride walk in. Their ceremony was intimate, heartfelt, and full of genuine connection — the kind of wedding day that reminds you what marriage is truly about.
