If you’re a bride-to-be or simply considering a boudoir session, you are always more than welcome here. Full stop.
Over half of my clients are plus size, so I like to think you’re in very safe, capable, experienced hands. This isn’t new territory for me—it’s something I specialise in, and something I genuinely love.
So if you’re feeling unsure, nervous, or even a bit “is this really for me?”—here’s some honest advice from someone who’s been there behind the camera many, many times.
The Least Amount of Fabric… But Let Me Explain
Before you panic—no, I’m not saying you have to be naked (unless you want to be!).
What I mean is this: there’s often a natural instinct to cover up. To hide the tummy, the arms, the thighs. I get it. But in boudoir photography, less fabric can actually work in your favour. It allows me to use light and shadow to shape, sculpt, and highlight your body in the most flattering way.
That said—this is your session. If you feel amazing in a babydoll that covers everything, wear it. Confidence always photographs better than anything else.
Skip the Fake Tan (If It’s Not Your Thing)
I’ve heard “I feel thinner with a tan” more times than I can count. And while that might be true for some, if tanning isn’t something you normally do, don’t start just for your shoot.
Your natural skin tone is perfect as it is. Honestly. Whether you’re fair, freckled, olive, or glowing—I’ll work with your natural colouring to make you look incredible.
We Work Around Your Insecurities—Together
Everyone has parts of themselves they’re not 100% comfortable with. That’s completely normal.
I’ll absolutely take that into consideration during your session. Through posing, lighting, and angles, we’ll work together to highlight what you love and soften what you don’t.
You’re not expected to just “get over it”—that’s my job to help you with.

I’ll guide you every step of the way, but a lot of what we do comes down to your personal preferences. We decide on the vibe, the energy, and the direction—together.
Will I give you clear instructions? Yes.
Will I physically guide you into poses? Also yes.
But everything we create is a collaboration. Always.
You Don’t Need Confidence (That’s My Job)
Let me make this very clear—you do not need to arrive confident. You don’t need to know how to pose. You don’t need any experience in front of a camera.
That’s what I’m here for.
All you need to do is show up. I’ll take care of the rest.
